What skills and experience we're looking for
Candidates must be able to convey core subjects and topic-based learning to pupils who have a range of abilities and be able to monitor and assess to ensure the best possible progress. The successful candidate will have a commitment to developing outstanding practice and the desire and drive to improve educational outcomes and life chances for our very special pupils.
Applications are welcome from UQTs, NQTs and experienced teachers who have the ability to think creatively and are resilient and motivated by challenges.
Experience of working within a SEN setting is desirable but not essential.

The school provides for 150 pupils and students between the ages of 7 – 19, who have a range of academic abilities and complex needs and with a primary diagnosis of speech language and communication needs and/or autistic spectrum conditions.

St Dominic’s School is a special academy in Surrey and provides outstanding education for pupils and students aged 7-19 typically with a primary diagnosis of Speech Language & Communication Needs and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition. The school is located in Hambledon, close to Witley, Milford, Guildford and Godalming.
