What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across our school (Infants and Juniors) with a range of SEN pupils as a team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs. The role will involve working with pupils with Special Needs and Challenging behaviours who require extra learning support on a 1:1 or small group basis.

The SEN Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who have ASD as well as some other special needs.

The successful candidate for our school will be confident and passionate about working with students who need extra Learning Support. They will have a can-do attitude and willingness to help in other areas of the classroom, and the ability to work well under pressure. Although this is primarily a SEN role, the successful candidate will be required to carry out general Teaching Assistant duties and assist with extra-curricular activities.
