SEN Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint one permanent and one fixed term contract SEN experienced teaching assistants to work primarily in KS2 but also with knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will be supported by a SENDco and passionate team of teachers in an inclusive, engaging environment where children love to learn.

Badbury Park Primary School moved into a state-of-the-art new building in November 2020 .We are passionate about outdoor learning, education for social responsibility and forest school and we have wonderful green spaces to bring the curriculum alive. We have engaged, happy learners in beautiful, authentic learning spaces with carefully chosen versatile resources that provoke creativity, curiosity, and concentration. The school building is spacious, and purpose built with the latest technology including an immersive room, VR headsets, coding robots and a 3D printer.

  • Have experience of working with interventions
  • Have a trauma informed approach to supporting children
  • Be fun, creative and enthusiastic with a love for outdoor learning

The hours of work will be Monday-Friday 08.30-3.15pm (31.25 paid hours per week) term time only plus teacher training days.
