What skills and experience we're looking for
On behalf of the governors of Leominster Primary School, Hoople is seeking to appoint a fixed term maternity leave SEN Teaching Assistant Level 1, to work with a children in our resourced provision class for children with ASD. This is a Hoople position, and Hoople Terms and Conditions apply.
The successful candidate will:
- have experience of working with children with complex needs,
- be able to be flexible,
- be able to work as part of a team,
- be able to use their initiative,
- have good inter-personal skills,
- be able to work alongside teachers and other colleagues from outside agencies,
- have very good literacy and communication skills,
- be committed to inclusive practice.

Leominster Primary School is a three-form entry primary school with two nursery classes in the market town of Leominster in Herefordshire. We have 590 pupils on roll with a staffing complement of approximately 100. The school has two headteachers, who share responsibility for the school.
There are two specially resourced provision units on site. This provision is designated for a small number of pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs and pupils with autism
The school also provides before- and after-school care on site.
