SEN Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Raynsford Church of England Academy. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference to children’s lives by supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

As part of our caring and inclusive school community, you will:

  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to support pupils’ learning and development.

  • Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions that help pupils make progress towards their EHCP and SEND targets.

  • Provide personal and emotional support, helping pupils to feel safe, valued and included.

  • Support children both in the classroom and during transitions around the school day.
