About Us:

The school currently has three mixed-aged classes (EYFS/Y1, Y2&3 and Y456), small class sizes and higher than average non-standard entry, meaning support across the school is varied and cohort specific.
Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our small and friendly team to support the ambitious curriculum offer. We are looking for somebody who can work throughout the school. The hours are 9:30am-miiday, Monday to Thursday, and 9:30am-11am on Friday. However, there is some flexibility with this. Job-shares will be considered.

Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support or early childhood education are desirable but not essential.
- Experience working within a school or other educational setting desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of, and familiarity with, strategies and interventions to support pupils with SEND in an educational setting desirable but not essential.
