About this Role

SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: 23.25 hours

Monday-Thursday 8:45am-1pm and Friday 8:45am-3:30pm (with a 30-minute lunch break). These include some lunchtime cover.

38 weeks per year

Grade: D, Pay Scale 4

Has knowledge, understanding and/or experience of working with children with additional needs

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing support for children with complex needs, in line with recommended provision and targets from external professionals

Providing a level of medical care.

Supporting learning, communication, and social development both inside and outside of the classroom

Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external professionals

Contributing to a nurturing and structured learning environment
