SEN Teaching Assistant job summary

The Howard School is seeking to appoint a highly effective SEN Teaching Assistant, to start with immediate effect.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, promote inclusion, and help every student reach their potential. Experience with SEN and a passion for inclusive education are essential. Due to an increase in demand, we are looking to expand our well-established team of supportive colleagues. Opportunities for training are available, depending on experience.

This is a part time, permanent role, Term Time Only, paid based on the NJC pay scale D2 point 4-11 (FTE £25,185 - £28,142 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £14,986 - £16,745 per annum).

The working pattern will consist of 26 hours and 20 minutes per week, Monday-Thursday 8:30-14:55, and Friday 8:30-13:00.
