Turnfurlong Infant School is situated approximately a mile from the centre of Aylesbury. We are part of the Aylesbury Learning Parnership of Schools (ALPS). Over recent years our staff and children have been actively involved in a variety of experiences with Turnfurlong Junior School and The Grange School. Being part of ALPS also provides opportunities for shared professional development for teachers and support staff.
Our warm and caring school is a school where every child really matters and where we celebrate the unique status of being an infant school. Inspiring a love of learning is at the heart of our teaching. Our curriculum is enhanced by a range of visitors to the school and visits out of school (local and further afield). Our children have participated in dance and music workshops, watched chicks hatch, visited local places of worship, local farms and visited Woburn Safari Park, Warwick Castle and Waddesdon Manor.
