Our staff are our most valued asset. The Academy has access to a wealth of support provided by outstanding practitioners, giving opportunities for staff to flourish and develop.

Tudor Grange Primary Academy St James Academy is looking for a highly organised and empathetic Special Educational Needs Coordinator to fill this 0.6FTE permanent role.

The successful applicant will need to be an effective communicator to work with students, parents, agencies and staff. We have a team of 13 dedicated and committed Learning Support Assistants; part of the role will be to encourage, coach and support this team.

We put children at the centre of everything that we do and pride ourselves on excellent pupil behaviour and our strong ethos of inclusion with ambition for all;

St James is in the heart of Solihull, on Halifax Road in Shirley, south of Birmingham and is a popular, over-subscribed primary school.

The Academy is a central part of the local community, we have close links with the Diocese of Birmingham and a strong relationship with St James the local church in Shirley, which the whole school attends half termly.

Our good reputation has meant that we have been oversubscribed for the past few years and this is down to the dedication of our staff and our close working relationships with parents and carers.
