Pickwick Academy Trust would to recruit a permanent, part-time (0.9 FTE) SENCo based at Ivy Lane School.
Salary
Between M6 £43,607 and UPS3 £49,084 pro rata per annum, depending on experience (actual salary - between £39,246 and £44,176).
Plus TLR2, £3391 pro rata per annum, actual - £3052 per annum.
Hours
Monday to Thursday – all day plus Friday ½ day flexible working from home to complete administrative tasks.

Our School
Ivy Lane School is a two-form entry Primary School in the centre of Chippenham, Wiltshire and is part of the Pickwick Academy Trust. We also have our on-site Sunflowers Nursery which accepts children from the age of 3 years old.

Role Overview
We are looking to appoint an outstanding and dedicated SENCO who can support the school’s community as it continues to grow.
In this role your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Strategic leadership and development of SEN across the school
Fulfil the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Being responsible for day-to-day operation of SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability
Monitoring the provision and progress of SEN, EAL, AGAT and looked after children
Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies
Taking part in senior leadership meetings
Managing the Teaching Assistants to deliver intervention programmes and 1:1 support
Liaising with parent groups at the school
Contributing to the wider school life and the school’s core values and ethos
