SENCO/Class Teacher job summary

The successful candidate will:
- This is a key post which is focused on the strategic development and implementation of SEN policy within the school and the co-ordination of provision for students.
- The role also involves the responsibility for provision for looked-after and previously looked-after children. Leadership of the learning support team, the provision of training and information for staff and extensive communication with parents, carers and outside agencies will be aspects of this role, as will be ensuring that all statutory documentation is completed.
