SENCO job summary

Who are we?

Claycots School is a large, multi-site school which is judged Good by Ofsted. Currently we have 1700 pupils over two campuses in Slough making us a unique school to work in.

We are looking for someone to join our team who:

Has high expectations of children’s attainment and progress.

Has substantial experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities and can help them to achieve academically and personally.

Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support colleagues.

Can work effectively with all stakeholders, particularly parents.

Has a sound knowledge of the SEN code of practice.

Preferably holds the SENCO qualification but we would be willing to support the right candidate to undergo the training.
