SENCO job summary

Joseph Norton Academy is a special academy educating children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The school prides itself on its use of nurture, social pedagogy and its laser sharp focus on preparing pupils for adulthood. We are recruiting ahead of a significant expansion that will see the school move from Scissett to Deighton.

Join us as SENCO and take a lead role in our mission for total inclusion. You’ll be responsible for the precision-mapping of student interventions and the seamless delivery of EHCP targets across the curriculum. Your expertise will guide our consultation process in full alignment with statutory requirements, ensuring that Joseph Norton remains a place where all it's pupils can thrive and succeed
