SENCo job summary
We are looking for a Senco who is knowledgeable, inspirational and has great enthusiasm for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across the school. The right candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate an ability to care for their team and create a climate where everyone feels included.
The Senco will lead and coordinate the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) ensuring that all students achieve their full potential and experience a smooth and supportive transition between Key Stages.
This is a strategic and influential role within the school, directly impacting the outcomes, progress, and well-being of students with SEND. The successful candidate will champion inclusive practice, build strong relationships with staff, parents, and external agencies, and lead the ongoing development of our SEND provision across the school.
