SEND Administrator - Saint Gabriel’s College

Saint Gabriel’s College is seeking a highly organised, proactive and committed SEND

Administrator to join our thriving Inclusion Team. This is a key role supporting the efficient and

effective running of our SEND provision, ensuring that pupils with additional needs receive the

support they require to thrive.

Working closely with the SENCO, the SEND Administrator will provide high-quality

administrative, organisational and systems-based support across all aspects of SEND, including

statutory processes, annual reviews, communication with parents and professionals, and

maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

Support the SENCO with paperwork for EHCP processes, referrals and statutory

timelines. Annual Reviews, including gathering reports, scheduling meetings.

Under the direction of the SENCO maintain the SEND Register and ensure all pupil

information is accurate, up to date and compliant.

Update and maintain SEND records on SIMS/Google Drive and other school systems.

Ensure secure handling of confidential information in line with GDPR.

Assist in coordinating intervention timetables and tracking pupil support.

Provide general administrative support to the Inclusion team, including diary

management, filing, and correspondence.

Exam Coordination:

Coordinating with the exams office and invigilating exams to ensure all SEND

requirements are met.

Support for Interventions: Assisting with the delivery and monitoring of interventions for

students with SEND.

Support/coordinate with medical needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum qualification of GCSE/ equivalent

At least 2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably within a school setting

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Demonstrable ability to work independently as well as part of a team
