SEND Learning Support Assistant job summary
We have an opportunity for you to be part of an amazing team and school, working within our Learning Support Team. If you are passionate about working with children and want to make a real difference to their learning at this crucial time in their education - this job is for you. We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support the provision for our SEND children. The post is Monday to Friday, 8.50 am - 3.20pm, term time only. We are interviewing on application and will close the advert once suitable applicant has been found so please apply as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated to making a difference to children's learning. You will need to enjoy working with children and be passionate and committed to helping children develop as independent and confident individuals. This role will help support pupils to access all aspects of learning and self-help skills. You will work closely with the class teacher, phase leader and SENCo. You will need to be able to work in a small group basis with children - inside or outside of the classroom.
