What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Hub Teacher to join our team in our newly opening SEND hub. In this vital role, you will:

  • Deliver personalised learning experiences that meet the needs of students with a range of SEND.
  • Foster a nurturing environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve their potential.
  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Champion inclusion and inspire students to grow in confidence and independence.

What We’re Looking For

✔ We are looking for someone to assist with the development and monitoring of Teaching and Learning in all aspects across the SEND resourced provision and SEND unit

✔ Someone to ensure there is and appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying in the department, in accordance with the aims of the academy and the curricular policies determined by the Academy leadership, Local Academy Committee (Governors), and the CEO.


✔ A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).

✔ Experience working with children with SEND (desirable but not essential if you’re committed to learning and developing).

✔ Patience, empathy, and creativity in your teaching approach.

✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
