Are you a passionate and reflective teacher with a strong interest in SEND?
Do you want to develop your practice in a specialist provision within Lancasterian Primary School where you can make a profound difference to children with additional needs?
We are seeking a committed Early Career Teacher to join our Additional Resource Base (ARB), working with pupils with significant speech, language and communication needs.
The successful candidates will:
- Lead teaching and learning within the ARB, creating a nurturing, structured and ambitious environment
- Plan and deliver bespoke, highly personalised learning based on pupils’ individual needs
- Use EHCPs to inform planning, provision and assessment
- Lead a team within the ARB, while maintaining links to the mainstream classes
- Work closely with external professionals (e.g. therapists, educational psychologists, advisory teachers)
- Ensure all practice aligns with statutory SEND guidance and best practice
- Contribute to a culture of inclusion across the whole school
Do you want to join us in a school with a vision to be the best, where every child:
- embraces learning as a demanding lifelong journey, because all of us show them how to love challenge and growth;
- feels proud of who they are and their own uniqueness, because all of us celebrate difference; and
- leaves the gate with fond memories, a creative outlook and a sense of excitement for the road ahead, because all of us have put them at the centre of everything we do?
Lancasterian Primary is a two-form entry school in the heart of Tottenham, a busy, exciting and energetic part of London, proud of its diverse and welcoming community. Following our June 2024 Ofsted judgement (Outstanding in 4 out of 5 areas), we continue to raise standards and improve outcomes for all pupils. We are seeking an Early Career Teacher to grow with us as we work towards our vision. Our Additional Resource Base, opened in September 2025, offers an exciting opportunity to help shape and develop a high-quality provision for children with SEND.
Are you the teacher that can help us to become the best?
