SEND Student Support Officer job summary
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to undertake a new role for the school, working as a key part of our Learning Support Team. This role will play a key part in the EHCP Annual review process, working with colleagues, external agencies, students and their parents and carers. The role will become a key part of our SEND and Pastoral Support Team.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience in working with young people, an understanding of statutory and practical application of SEND support and a desire to work within a capable and caring team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher with responsibilities for SEND.
The full-time post is for 37 hours per week over 5 days, 39 weeks per year. This is term time plus training days.
