SEND Support Lead job summary
37 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week.
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) ? Cardinal Wiseman School in Coventry is seeking two dedicated and experienced SEND Support Leads to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview: As the SEND Support Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that students with SEND receive the tailored support they need to thrive. Working closely with the SEND team, you’ll provide full school based operational management support to the SENDCo, implementing consistently high quality SEND provision enabling impact on standards and outcomes for learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support the SENCO in leading and managing the SEND provision across the school.
- Manage the SEND team to the raise standards of SEND student achievement and progress
- Supporting, leading and managing tracking, monitoring and application of interventions to support the progress of all SEND and vulnerable learners
- Liaise with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to coordinate support services and appropriate planning.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEND, making adjustments to support plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and school policies related to SEND.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a SEND support role within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
