Wise Owl Trust is excited to be opening a brand-new SEND provision at Briscoe Lane Academy, and we are seeking to appoint an exceptional SEND Teacher to join us at this pivotal stage.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a specialist provision that will support pupils with additional needs to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

About the Provision

The provision will offer:

- A nurturing and structured environment for pupils with SEND

- A focus on communication, independence and emotional development

- A personalised and ambitious curriculum tailored to individual needs

- Close partnership working with families and external agencies

The Successful Candidates Will:

- Have experience of teaching pupils with SEND (or a strong interest in this area)

- Demonstrate high expectations for all learners

- Be skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of needs

- Work collaboratively with support staff, families and professionals

- Be committed to inclusive education and improving outcomes for all pupils
