Pebble Brook is looking to recruit an exceptional teacher to join our team. You’ll join a team of dedicated SEND professionals. If you are a primary-trained or foundation Maths subject specialist who would like to deliver a broader subject base to 1 or 2 KS3 groups , this could be the role for you. You will lead, monitor and support the overall progress and development of students’ foundation subject knowledge, confident in facilitating and encouraging a learning experience which provides our students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential in preparation for adulthood. About the successful candidate

You’ll need to be a team player and collaborator, sharing ideas and strategies with colleagues whilst learning from them, and reflecting on each term, seeking improvement through solution focused practice. You will be committed to working to meet the individual needs of our pupils and confident communicating to students and young adults ranging from year 7 to sixth form .

Pebble Brook School is a secondary Special School for approximately 170 pupils aged 11-19 with a range of moderate learning difficulties. We are based on an attractive site, with onsite staff parking in the centre of Aylesbury and maintained by Buckinghamshire Local Authority. Our pupils come from all over the county, some have attended primary special schools whilst others have previously been in mainstream schools across the county.
