Are you an enthusiastic teacher looking for a new and exciting challenge?
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Academy for an enthusiastic and inspirational SEND Teacher. We are looking for an inspiring teacher who is competent in identifying and supporting individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment within which everyone can reach their full potential. Join us and you will be part of a fantastic Inclusion department with a strong team ethos which enables learners to gain the currency to progress post 16. We believe in working collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting each other to achieve great things as we further develop innovative teaching and learning strategies and social, emotional and mental health well-being provision. You should be able to teach across the ability range for KS3 and KS4 and a real interest in developing teaching and learning is also important. Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum would also be advantageous along with alternative GCSE courses/programmes. You will have an extensive history of SEND-related CPD and evidence of outstanding outcomes for SEND learners.
Primary school experience would be an advantage. As would an ability to deliver Maths.
Flexible working requests are welcome. Part-time working hours will be considered for experienced colleagues as the Trust seeks to promote flexible working options to support a work-life balance.
