What skills and experience we're looking for
Stanley School is looking for outstanding, enthusiastic, hardworking and committed teachers with QTS, to join ourfantastic team.
Our unique children have complex needs; you will support them to overcome their daily barriers and have a positiveand successful school experience.
As a Class Teacher, you will have responsibility for teaching all areas of the curriculum and take a creative approachto teaching pupils according to their educational needs in a way that maximises children's achievement and promotes self-help skills.
The successful candidate will be an innovative teacher, capable of teaching throughout the EYFS and Primary agerange. They will help develop and drive forward an exciting new curriculum, offering a breadth of experience that builds on the pupil's interests.
Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where weempower and respect young people. Prior knowledge around Autism and sensory disorders as well as an understanding of children with complex learning needs and previous experience of working in an SEN environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills, commitment and levels of resilience are just as important.
The successful candidate will be an innovative and ambitious teacher with proven success of teaching throughoutthe EYFS and Primary age range. They will develop and drive forward an exciting curriculum that offers a breadth of experience that builds on the pupils interests.
