SEND Teaching Assistant job summary
Shipley CE Primary School is looking for an excellent teaching assistant with enthusiasm, flair and creativity to join our family school. We strive to nurture happy, well-rounded life-long learners who have an ongoing positive impact on their diverse community and beyond.
As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing quality learning and support for all our pupils.
This role will involve a portion of the day working 1:1 with a child with Special Educational Needs.

The successful candidate will:
- Ideally have experience working with a range of children with SEND.
- Be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of our children.
- Have a love of learning and be a reflective practitioner.
- Be an adaptable team player who is keen to excite and inspire our children.
- Have an understanding of the importance of pupils' health and wellbeing.
- Be committed to maintaining and developing the Christian character of the school

Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Hours: 32.5hrs per week, term time only
Salary: Scale point 6 , FTE £23,893 - 25,979, Actual salary £17,587- £19,123
