What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work with a child with anEHCP in Key Stage 2. Knowledge or experience of supporting children withspeech and language difficulties, using multi-sensory approaches to learningand adapting the curriculum would be advantageous. The successful applicantwill work towards the outcomes set out in the EHCP.

Blue Coat School, founded in 1693, is a popular and successful Voluntary Aided school situated in the town of Wotton-under-Edge. Situated 10 minutes from the M5 and only a short drive from Stroud, Tetbury and Thornbury, our school is within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The school site is now 22 years old and is surrounded by the views the area is renowned for.
Our admissions number is 45 and we currently have 315 children on roll organised into ten classes comprising of:-

• 3 x Mixed Year 1 & 2 classes
• 3 x Mixed Year 3 & 4 classes
• 1 x Year 5, 2 x Mixed Year 5 & 6
