SEND Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant who can work 5 days per week - 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only plus 5 Inset Days.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Work with a group of children with significantly high SEND needs and/ or as a 1:1
  • Provide learning support to particular pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Undertake lunchtime duties in an allocated space
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Show commitment and passion about learning
  • Be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team
