About The Reef
The Reef is a nurturing, specialist learning environment for children with EHCPs or those undergoing assessment. Each child follows an individualised learning pathway tailored to their specific needs. It’s a place where creativity, compassion, and consistency come together to create meaningful learning experiences.
About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with the Room Leader and SENDCO to deliver bespoke learning
- Support pupils with a range of complex needs in both academic and social development
- Help create a calm, safe and engaging learning environment
- Celebrate every small step of progress and help children grow in confidence
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children with SEND (essential)
- Understands the importance of personalised, inclusive education
- Brings energy, patience and a genuine love of working with children
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
- Is reflective and always keen to develop their practice
- Holds a relevant TA or SEND qualification (desirable but not essential)
