What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant, with SEND experience, to join our team. This role will involve both 1:1 work with children and group work depending on the immediate need. This will be within classrooms and outside the classroom when needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting every child reach their greatest potential and live by life's highest values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children, particularly those with SEND
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENDCo to provide outstanding provision for children with SEND
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and staff
  • Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
  • Promote inclusion and help every child reach their full potential
  • Uphold and actively promote safeguarding best practice
