SEND Teaching Assistant job summary
Salisbury Road Primary are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and creative SEND Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding team, to support the learning of pupils with additional needs.
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience of working within a primary school with a working knowledge of KS1
• Deep understanding of supporting children with additional needs
• Experience working 1:1 as a Teaching Assistant
• Good subject knowledge, particularly in English and Maths
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Working knowledge of supporting pupils with emotional difficulties
• Experience of Emotional Literacy Support, THRIVE or similar would be advantageous
