Actual salary:£18,020.65 - £18,945.33 per annum

A position has arisen for a kind, caring and empathetic individual to support a young child, moving into Year 4. They have recently been granted an EHCP. We are looking for an an individual to support them with their education and their SEMH needs for their time with us at St John Fisher.
The young person is accessing full time hours in school. Some phrases from the EHCP are as follows:
- I like playing basketball and football,
- My family are important to me,
- When dysregulated, they cannot communicate their emotions, views, wants or needs effectively
- Their SEMH needs have impacted on his ability to make progress and is working below ARE
- Has trouble managing emotions and impulses which often inhibits their capacity to access the curriculum
- Literacy needs impact on their capacity to access and respond to the curriculum
- Loves being outside and playing games

You will be responsible for:
- Working with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
- Giving support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
