What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a caring, patient and reflective SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs to thrive within an inclusive and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will build positive and trusting relationships, supporting communication, interaction, emotional wellbeing and engagement through warm, responsive and consistent practice.
You will be adaptable, proactive and committed to working collaboratively with the Class Teacher, SENDCo, parents and external professionals to provide high-quality support tailored to the child’s individual needs.
We are seeking someone who values play-based and sensory approaches within the Early Years, demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding, and is enthusiastic about making a genuine difference to a child’s learning, development and wellbeing as part of our supportive school community.
