What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a well organised and self-motivated person to join our friendly SEND team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of a busy and hard-working department. The focus of the role will be to provide efficient and effective administrative processes and procedures to support SEN and Year 6 to Year 7 Transition.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person, preferably with experience in a school environment. You will work alongside a dynamic and strong team of people committed to the progress and outcomes of children with special needs.
We are looking for someone who is an excellent administrator:
- With high expectations and a strong commitment to school improvement
- Who has the ability and capacity to work under pressure
- Will support and promote the inclusive ethos of our school
- Is able to maintain confidentiality as appropriate and restrict information sharing in a professional manner.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills
We are pleased to offer this permanent post for 35 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum. The ideal working pattern would be Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). The role is available from September 2026. We are keen to appoint the very best candidate to promote our ambition to offer the best provision to all our pupils.
