We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCO) to transform outcomes for every SEND learner within our school.
We're looking for a candidate with a strong and innovative vision to significantly raise aspirations and elevate attainment for all students with SEND, ensuring they can fully access all educational experiences. Your passion for inclusive practices and your ability to inspire will be at the heart of this role.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Exceptional Teaching & Leadership: You'll be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record, possessing drive to develop into an exceptional leader within our school.
- Strategic Vision for SEND: A clear and actionable vision for supporting SEND students. This includes expertise in identifying needs, developing bespoke interventions, implementing robust tracking systems, and fostering a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement across all SEND provisions.
- Comprehensive Key Stage Experience: The ability to confidently teach and lead across both Key Stages 3 and 4 and to understand the specific academic and pastoral needs of students at these stages.
- Inspirational Leadership & Collaboration: You'll be a natural leader who can inspire, motivate, and empower students and colleagues to reach their full potential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key.
