SENDCO and Inclusion Leader job summary
This is a non-class-based role, enabling you to focus on high-impact leadership and provision.
The successful candidate will:
Lead the strategic development of SEND and inclusion, ensuring high-quality, personalised provision for all pupils
Establish and lead our new Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for Communication and Interaction, creating a truly inclusive environment for pupils with complex needs
Support and develop staff through coaching, professional guidance and modelling excellent inclusive practice
Drive high expectations and aspirations for all learners, particularly those facing additional barriers
Contribute as a key member of SLT to whole-school improvement, strategy and decision-making
We are looking for someone who is:
A highly effective practitioner and leader with a strong track record of improving outcomes for pupils with SEND
Skilled in using data, evidence and research to inform strategy and secure impact
Deeply committed to inclusive education and removing barriers to learning
An excellent communicator who can build trusting partnerships with families, staff and external professionals
Passionate about making a lasting difference to children and their life chances
