Join Our Visionary Leadership Team as SENDCO

We are seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking senior leader to take on the pivotal role of SENDCOat our vibrant and inclusive secondary school. This is a unique opportunity to lead a passionate Inclusion Team and shape a culture rooted in equity, ambition, and unwavering support for every learner.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will drive strategic initiatives that enhance life chances for our most vulnerable students, ensuring they thrive through success and achievement. You will champion best practice across the school, offering expert guidance to staff and embedding excellence in SEND provision aligned with the latest Ofsted frameworks and statutory requirements.

This role goes beyond one school. As part of the wider SENDCO network within New Collaborative Learning Trust, you will collaborate with colleagues across our three secondary academies in Rotherham—sharing innovation, driving consistency, and making a meaningful impact across the region.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:

  • Champion the needs of disadvantaged pupils, including those eligible for Pupil Premium, those with SEND, and pupils known to social care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of inclusive practices and report to governors and stakeholders.
  • Bring strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of the challenges facing young people today.
  • Collaborate with families, staff, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning.
  • Be relentless in your commitment to improving opportunities, outcomes, and life chances for all students.
  • Model integrity, resilience, and professionalism within a positive, hardworking team.
