SENDCO/Classroom Teacher job summary
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated, and enthusiastic SENDCO and part time classroom teacher to join our strong, professional, and friendly team.
The position is initially for an experienced KS2 Teacher with experience of leading SEN in a primary setting. You will hold your National Award for SEN Co-ordination (NASENCo).
Alongside a regular teaching commitment (2/3 days), you'll have a lovely Year 5 class, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to support colleagues across the school in developing and implementing effective provision for vulnerable pupils in line with the SEND Code of Practice
You will be skillful in working with pupils with a range of different abilities and needs - SEND, LAC, Pupil Premium, EAL, G &T - and will have the excellent communication skills enabling liaison with a variety of external agencies.
We have a strong partnership with other local schools through our membership of the South East Essex Academy Trust, and are wholly committed to training and developing staff, as well as other excellent opportunities for professional development.
