SENDCo job summary

We are seeking to appoint two SENDCOs to join our teams at either Enrich Academy or Evolve Academy.

You will take responsibility for SEND provision in either Enrich or Evolve Academy. You will lead and model best practice and will monitor, evaluate and improve the quality of provision for all aspects of SEND.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will also undertake duties including performance management and staff management and will act as an excellent role model; exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectations for all members of the school community.

The SENDCo role in our Wakefield Schools was, until recently, one role. As both schools progress and expand, the decision was made to create two roles so that each of our Wakefield schools could have their own dedicated SENDCo.

Candidates are encouraged to express on their application form whether they wish to apply for Evolve Academy, Enrich Academy, or whether they wish to be considered for both roles.

If you are looking for a new and rewarding challenge, and you are committed to making a difference, then we look forward to hearing from you.
