Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Featherby Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENDCO to join our team on a permanent basis.

About The Role

Working in close partnership with our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of SEND provision across the whole school, ensuring every child has the support they need to thrive.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who combines exceptional organisational skills with the ability to teach and inspire students with diverse learning needs.

Who You Are

We are looking for teachers who will:

  • Qualified Teacher

  • Evidence of, or willingness to undertake the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination

  • The desire and ability to create a safe and nurturing learning experience for all children

  • A sound understanding of the SEN Code of Practice

  • Experience of working across the age range in schools

  • Ability to plan for a range of needs combined with a clear view of the next steps in a pupils learning
