The academy has a new SEND Unit for up to 24 young people with ASD. The SEND Unit has three classes, so eight pupils in each, and we are looking for a teacher to job-share for one of the classes. The successful candidate would be the SENdCo for the Designated Unit, in the remainder of the time.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated and established team of practitioners who share a commitment to achieve excellence.

You would need to have completed or started your qualification to be a SENdCO (either NASEN or NPQ).

The academy is part of The Park Federation Academy Trust, allowing us to benefit from a wealth of expertise across our ten academies, as well as enabling us to provide opportunities for sharing of good practice and high-quality training. Two of the academies have a Specialist Resource Base already. The Trust is currently developing its own strong SEND strategy that we are hoping the successful candidate can contribute to.
