Grove Road Primary School is a large 2 form entry primary school that sits at the heart of the local community in Tring. We want to grow and develop leadership capacity by recruiting someone who is keen to develop their school leadership skills. This is a full-time role with leadership terms and conditions. We are particularly keen to recruit a teacher with SEND background or experience. The ideal candidate will be working to achieve, or already have, their SENDCo qualification. We are looking for someone dynamic and enthusiastic. The right candidate will have a robust understanding of school improvement and a passion for inclusion. The role involves working closely with the Head of Inclusion and her Team.
Although non-class based, the role will include some teaching responsibilities. Ideally, the role will start after February half term but there may be some flexibility for a later start.
Grove Road benefits from being part of a small Multi-Academy Trust (The Ridgeway Learning Partnership). This is a 3-19 MAT with 2 primary schools and a secondary school, which offers skills sharing and transition expertise across the age range.
The RLP enjoys close and collaborative working making us a dynamic and successful MAT. We work very closely with our partner schools in the Trust, offering bespoke opportunities for professional development and cross-school collaboration.
The Ridgeway Learning Partnership values their staff and are working hard to support staff well-being.
