We are seeking a passionate, driven and dedicated SENDCo to join our school community. We are open to also those who this would be the next step in their journey and/or have started their SEND qualification. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to take our SEND offer and provision from good to outstanding – and beyond.

The successful candidate will:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a proven record of accomplishment of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Who has started their professional qualification for SEND and this would be their next step
  • Can demonstrate a clear understanding of best practice in SEND provision
  • Is committed to collaborative working with parents, carers and outside agencies
  • Is proactive in raising standards and driving improvements for our SEND provision
  • Shares our belief that every child deserves an excellent, inclusive education

About Hillborough Infant and Nursery School

We are a maintained primary school, and our team is committed to providing the highest quality education for all our pupils, including those with SEND. We are a three-form entry school with a large number of children attending our nursery. We have a dedicated and committed team who support all those identified as having SEND and those who have higher-level needs SEND.
