Teacher MPS/UPS with SEN Allowance

Full Time (Part Time working will be considered)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENDCo to lead and develop our inclusive education provision at Olney Middle School. As part of the Inclusion Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the school meets all statutory duties related to SEND and for promoting high standards of achievement and progress for all pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee identification, assessment, and support for pupils with SEND.

  • Lead and develop teaching practices across the four key areas of SEND.

  • Work with staff, parents, external agencies, and the local authority to ensure effective provision.

  • Manage SEND resources and ensure appropriate use of funding.

  • Support smooth transitions for SEND pupils across key stages.

  • Monitor pupil progress, implement provision maps, and lead on assess-plan-do-review cycles.

  • Deliver staff training and development on inclusive practices.

  • Promote a whole-school culture of high expectations and inclusion.

We are looking for a proactive leader with excellent communication, organisational and strategic skills, who is passionate about inclusive education and making a difference in the lives of all learners.
