This exciting opportunity involves the post holder taking overall responsibility for all aspects SEND for the school including regulatory requirements, co-ordination of educational support for students and developing the schools provision. As a qualified SENDCO your role will include analysis and assessment of need, monitoring standards and achievement to ensure that intervention and support is effective and meets the needs of the students. The role will be a key link for staff, parents/carers and agencies while working closely with the Senior Leadership Team in school and across the Trust to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
A teaching commitment will be required; this will be reflective of the school needs in relation to SEND.
