SENDCo job summary
The SENDCo will lead and coordinate the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across at least two key stages of our all-through school, ensuring that all students achieve their full potential and experience a smooth and supportive transition between Key Stages.
This is a strategic and influential role within the school, directly impacting the outcomes, progress, and well-being of students with SEND. The successful candidate will champion inclusive practice, build strong relationships with staff, parents, and external agencies, and lead the ongoing development of SEND provision across the school.
The SENDCo will be working within a large SEND team, including others with SENDCo experience and expertise.
A SENDCo qualification and Primary or Secondary SEND experience is essential for this role which could be full time or part time (0.6 or above).
