SENDCO job summary

We are looking for a dynamic, well organised and creative SENDCO to work across two schools within the Pope Francis MAC.

We envisage the ideal candidate to be one who can blend expert subject knowledge with the ability to build strong, positive, relationships with families, staff, and external organisations.

The successful candidate will be based at St John Fisher in Littlemore (2.5 days) and St Joseph’s in Carterton (1.5 days) with flexibility over choice of days.

Within the PFMAC we have an Inclusion Lead who is available to support, and a strong working relationship with the other schools where expertise is shared regularly.

We want someone who has long term commitment to the role, ensuring stability in our leadership teams.

We welcome experienced candidates and those wishing to study for their NPQ alongside the role.

St John Fisher Catholic Primary School, a member of the Pope Francis Multi Academy Company (PFMAC) is a fully inclusive faith school located in the parishes of Sacred Heart and Blessed Dominic Barberi, Oxford. Our school is based between Blackbird Leys and Littlemore and are a short cycle ride into the city centre. The school is single- form entry and caters for 230 children from 3 to 11 years old (Nursery through to Year 6). We have an incredibly diverse pupil roll, which we celebrate, and which forms a key element of our identity. We are a rapidly improving school, looking for someone to join us on the journey.
