Are you an experienced and passionate Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) looking for an inspiring, non-class based leadership role? The Coombes Church of England Primary School is seeking a part-time (0.6 or 0.8) SENCO to join our dynamic and supportive team.

You will:
be a qualified teacher with a proven record of excellent teaching to meet children's needs, both academically and socially hold the NPQSENCO Qualification/SENDCo qualification (essential)
have experience of conducting training and supporting colleagues
be a champion for children with additional needs and/or in receipt of Pupil Premium
have a sound knowledge of quality first teaching as described within the SEND Code of Practice
demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, families and other agencies
have a good knowledge of safeguarding policies such as Keeping Children Safe in Education
Be a team player, willing to work as part of a team to ensure every child flourishes
