We are looking for an experienced SENDCO to join our team at Thomas Eaton Primary Academy. This role will entail at least two days a week focused SENDCO time alongside a class teacher role. This is a unique opportunity in a school that is rapidly evolving its SEND provision.

Thomas Eaton is a small school, half an hour from Peterborough, within the Fenland cluster. Although small in number we are mighty in spirit and are proud of our school community. The school has a higher than average number of children with additional needs and therefore we are seeking a passionate, creative and solution focused SENDCO who will strive to ensure that all children are successful in school. In addition to a fantastic SENDCO we also need you to be a fun, inspiring and highly motivated class teacher.

What the school offers its staff

We have the benefits of:

  • A good Ofsted in October 2023;
  • a strong curriculum;
  • the opportunity to share planning with our sister school;
  • experienced support staff;
  • well established operating procedures;
  • supportive parent body;
  • CPD from our DLP Trust and the Fenland Cluster Schools;
  • a truly dedicated and hardworking SLT.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and excellent classroom practitioner, who will strive for excellent outcomes for children within a school.

Thomas Eaton Primary Academy is part of the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust, a charitable multi-academy trust (MAT) specialising in the Primary sector.   We are building a thriving community of schools that succeed on behalf of their children.  The Family of Academies within the Trust currently incorporates 14 schools. As such, joining our MAT means joining an organisation with an array of developmental and career opportunities

Further benefits include;

  • Collaborative approach to working;
  • Opportunities to train/work with other academies within the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust to share best practice and resources;
  • A friendly and professional team;
