SENDCo job summary
The Role:
We are looking for a candidate who can lead the strategic direction and development of SEND policy and provision in our setting. The person will ensure that Wednesfield Academy continues to be a highly inclusive environment where pupils with SEND or a disability can thrive and achieve expected outcomes. The SENDCO will lead a wider team with enthusiasm and commitment and will support staff to deliver high quality and adaptative teaching in line with the SEND Code of Practice. In return, you will benefit from working within a forward thinking, creative and dynamic strategic leadership team providing you with whole school experience and opportunities to develop your career.

Being an excellent practitioner in your subject area;
